The tax credits will now be available only for sedans priced at $55,000 or less, and for pickups, vans or SUVs at $80,000 or less. Only cars priced at $55,000 or less, and pickup trucks, SUVs, and vans priced at $80,000 or less, are eligible. Required percentage increases from 50% in 2024 to 100% in 2028.
