Our hydrogen locomotive program has the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions from locomotive operations, supporting the transition to a lower-carbon future in the freight rail sector.

Electric trucks created in Washington, Tyne & Wear are today on the roads of Washington DC. Four major US corporations and two utility companies took delivery of the Smith Newton, the largest road-going electric truck in North America. Newton was launched in the UK by Smith Electric Vehicles in 2006.
