In some areas where wind and hydropower is wasted at night, the rate can be as low as 2-3 cents per kWh. PHEV conversions are emerging at a frenzied rate (see the frequency of CalCars-News postings), to the point where its no longer feasible to track every instance of a PHEV. Thats 20-25 cents a gallon. Why Pay More for a PHEV?

Nuclear waste is a problem much harder to solve than CO2, and dams have quite an impact in the environment. Saving lives through nuclear power. :p p Neutral Elora HRanma @ Apr 20th 2009 8:14AM @catachip: I wouldnt say that hydroelectric or nuclear plants produce 0 emissions. Simply, those are not the main concern for campaigners right now.

Not to mention the parts you most definitely could sell from the running gear. Its a Lotus.

As people have seen the EV adoption rate globally is under pressure and a lot of other auto manufacturers are pulling back on EVs and pursuing plugin hybrids instead. That seems like it would be a waste not to use it. Elon Musk : We’re in conversations with one major automaker regarding licensing FSD. Martin Viecha: Okay.
