Total system horsepower is 188, top speed is 102 mph, and top speed in electric mode is 85 mph. C-MAX Energi originally went on sale in late 2012, and was joined by its sedan sibling, the Fusion Energi, in February 2013. Fusion Energi sales for January-October 2015 are down -22.6% EV range is 19 miles.

Hyundai will initially offer the Sonata Plug-in Hybrid in the ZEV states—California, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont—in 2015. EV mode, or all-electric battery charge depleting mode, can handle speeds up to approximately 75 mph (121 km/h). Fusion Energi.
