Total system horsepower is 188, top speed is 102 mph, and top speed in electric mode is 85 mph. EPA-rated MPGe fuel economy equivalent is 95 MPGe city, 81 MPGe highway and 88 MPGe combined. C-MAX Energi originally went on sale in late 2012, and was joined by its sedan sibling, the Fusion Energi, in February 2013.
