As of 2018, Audi Brussels will produce exclusively the commercial version of Audi’s e-tron quattro battery-electric SUV ( earlier post ). The site in Belgium will thus become a key plant for electric mobility at the Volkswagen Group. The Audi Q3, currently produced in Spain, will be built in Győr (Hungary) in the future.

The first Audi Q8 e-tron drove off the production line at the Brussels plant yesterday, 14 December, marking the beginning of an era for the new top model in Audi’s electric SUV range. The battery assembly facility in Brussels is playing a groundbreaking role for the entire Group. Body and chassis of the Audi Q8 e-tron are connected.
