A new 38 port electric truck charging depot and maintenance hub is coming online to service Southern California’s ports and logistics centers, along with 50 new electric trucks from Volvo and Daimler. It’s the first of its kind – that we know of anyway – that functions solely as an electric truck charging hub and maintenance facility.

Arc has built the first models of its much-anticipated Arc Sport 500hp electric wake boat, and we got a chance to take it for a quick demo in Long Beach, CA and holy heck, this thing rips. Arc is a very new company – it was founded in 2021 in Los Angeles, and is targeting the luxury boat market with high-powered electric boats.

This can lead to some inconsistent braking feel as the van decides which brakes to apply, but some companies do this with the idea that it’s more familiar to drivers who have previously driven ICE cars.
