Zytek (a UK based company) make the motor and drivetrain for it. Theres a company in Guernsey (a UK island) which does conversions (the Mk1 shape), but I want a current shape model and a 60 mile range is just fine. Why is it taking so long for manufacturers to get this sorted?? This must be some kind of private venture.

Or Cell phone companies agreeing on all cellphone using a mini-usb plug. Neutral catachip @ Apr 19th 2009 4:29PM Now only if electronics manufacturers could do the same thing. There are a few phone manufacturers that havent switched yet. This would be like all laptop makers agreeing on the same plug to fit in all laptops.
