The Volvo XC40 Recharge, the company’s first fully electric vehicle, will carry an MSRP of $53,990 when it arrives in US showrooms later this year. The purchase of an XC40 Recharge may qualify for a federal tax credit of up to $7,500. State and local incentives could add further benefits.

EV sales are trending upward, which means that more and more drivers are going to be showing up to hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, and other locations expecting to charge their vehicles as they recharge themselves. The federal tax credit will provide qualifying businesses located in certain census tracts with up to 30% per station.

The circuit that you put in for a dedicated what we call Level Two charging station, working at 240 volts, which gives you that 3 to 6 hour complete battery recharge—the circuit you want it probably at 50 amps.
