Seattle, Washington-based EnerG2 , a seven-year-old company focused on introducing advanced nano-structured materials for next-generation energy storage, broke ground on its first facility dedicated to the commercial-scale production of synthetic high-performance carbon electrode material for use in ultracapacitor energy storage devices.

The ethanol industry would like to raise the amount to 15% or 20%, but they are facing strong resistance from automakers and small equipment manufacturers who believe 15% blends may damage the 97% plus engines on the market that weren't designed to run on anything more than 10% ethanol. gasoline would need to be greater than $2.80/gallon

Electric car supporters are rising to defend General Motors’ development of the Chevy Volt after the Obama Administration’s automotive task force proclaimed that the car was probably too expensive to be commercially successful in the near future. Supporters of the car say that’s shortsighted. It’s called aerodynamics.
