In states (or countries ) with a high proportion of coal-generated electricity, the miles needed to break-even climb more. As electricity increasingly comes from renewables, total electric vehicle GHG emissions will continue downward, but that will take at least a decade or more to happen everywhere across the U.S.

If our country is going to spend money like a drunk sailor we should have spent it on building renewable energy power plants like Wind and Geothermal. Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal. The Democrats have reached too far.
