Jay’s first EV was the DC motor Reva, which he bought way back in the early 2000s. It was a 10 course lunch and if my memory serves me right, this is what we had: Grape juice, Masala dosa, Wada, Bisellebela rice, Rasam rice, Sambar Rice, Curd Rice, Badam halwa, Sheera, Icecream with fruits and paan. So was his wife.

I pulled an old issue of Sierra (the magazine of the Sierra Club) from July/August 1997. We also made regular trips to Washington DC to lobby for support for the National Parks at the House, Senate, and NGO levels and we learned that we could meet with anyone we gave money to. We also found magazines ( Utne Reader anyone?)
