KCL study finds London air pollution from traffic improving, but continues to exceed limits in many parts of city

The study, published as an open-access paper in the journal Environmental Pollution , examined trends in air pollution over a ten-year period spanning 2005 to 2014, using data collected from 65 roads. Fine particulate matter measured as PM 2.5 CO 2 increased along with increasing HGVs and buses. —Font and Fuller.

Between January 2008 and June 2009, the Alliance established 27 “zero-emission mobility partnerships” with governments, municipalities and other sectors around the world for full-scale EV diffusion. Deployment of infrastructure, including charging stations and incentives for zero-emissions vehicle purchases, are being studied.
