Cyclone Power Technologies has received a purchase order from its licensee Phoenix Power Group (PPG) for two waste oil power generators. The new Phoenix 10kW waste oil generator will be powered by Cyclone’s WHE-25 engine—a compact, scalable waste heat engine—using a specially designed, clean emissions combustion chamber.

ITM Power has signed a fuel contract with Honda (UK), which will purchase hydrogen at £10/kg (US$12.91/kg). The refueling network has been financially supported by Innovate UK, Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) and the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU).

Businesses and fleet customers have been asking Ford to make F-150 available with CNG capability to take advantage of the fuel’s low price and clean emissions. AT&T recently purchased 650 F-350 chassis cabs with the CNG-prep option. The Ford F-150 averages 23 mpg on the highway (10.2 F53 and F59 stripped chassis. Earlier post.).
