The redesigned front has a new diamond-pattern grille and fascia that house chevron-shaped LED daytime running lights and fog lamps. In the rear the horizontal LED taillights have a bold design, with a faux skid plate and more chevron-shaped back-up lights. Stylish lines. My tester’s Deep Cerulean color elicited complements.

Plug-in cars are inevitable. Nissan appears intent on opening up a market for mid-price range electric cars within two years. President Obama has stated a commitment to 1 million plug-in cars by 2015. The federal consumer tax credit awaits major automaker cars that can claim them. No plug, no deal!
