Launching an imported CKD kit in India was never a long term solution. The electronics support both 400 V and 800 V charging and bidirectional charging. The platform can support fast charging upto 200 kW. Also, the replacement batteries had to come all the way from Korea.

As a retrocomputing nerd, when I saw early last year that the Galaksija was being reissued as a complete kit through Crowd Supply , I placed an order on general principles. Figuring it was plain sailing from there, I canceled my Crowd Supply kit order and set off on my own.

I have asked them to rework the fuel tank area and see if they can fit the charging cable in that slot. The charging port standard is also something that they can relook at. We were down to a SoC of 30% by the time we hit Krishnagiri; this was because we had not charged the car from the time we picked it up at the dealership.
