The NEVI Formula program requires EV charging stations to be available every 50 miles and within one travel mile of the Alternative Fuel Corridor.

As we wait for Congress to fully return from their recess and vote on various legislation, I continue to be extremely concerned about how as much as $10 billion in federal government grants will be be spent on EV charging infrastructure. EV charging infrastructure is incredibly expensive.

All plug-in cars these days come with a 120-volt charge cord. Surprising to many, including I suspect Tesla Motors itself, they found that about half the charging of Roadsters at home in the U.S. Despite the fact that it takes 38-60 hours to charge a Tesla from empty to full at 120V.
