One of the things that EV owners know is that if you're going to take a trip, pull your phone and tell the car, 15 or 30 minutes before you start, hey, warm up your battery, pre-condition the cabin and do it on grid power so you have a full battery. It makes no sense to me to own a gas-only car in 2030 or even just a plain hybrid.
