Interestingly enough, the Automotive Class is "into" the study of hybrids at this time. along with a 110-v AC opportunity charge provided as well. Particularly to the Plug-in Hybrids Electric Vehicle (PHEV) like the Toyota Prius before them as well as converting internal combustion engines into pure Electrics! How perfect!

Quicke sidenote: PHEV3A as an acronym now encompasses the Tour de AZ: "Spirit of DC" Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle All Around Arizona (PHEV3A) EVducational Tour (tho it could change, depending on sponsorship to AAA Tour de AZ, or even eTour de AZ). Maybe the "Spirit" can grab an opportunity charge from a common 110-volt AC outlet.

In Germany, statistics from the Federal Motor Transport Authority reveal that total car registrations in March fell by 38% while fully electric cars actually grew by 56% and hybrids by 208%. Chinese car producer BYD even recorded a 337.25% increase in March sales amongst its fully electric and hybrid car models.
