Participating Chevrolet dealers in seven key launch markets across Canada have begun taking orders for the all-new 2012 Chevrolet Volt, with an MSRP starting at C$41,545 (US$43,568). GM says that this is part of its plan to gain exposure for the vehicle and the Chevrolet brand.

University students from The Ohio State University earned top honors at the 2009 finals of the EcoCAR : The NeXt Challenge competition in Toronto, Canada for their design of a Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV). In the final year, teams must refine their vehicles to near-showroom quality. Plug-in capability.
