A dud from a company offering below-average maintenance costs may very well outpace the typical vehicle from a brand that’s known for pricey upkeep. Mainstream brands tended to be on the cheaper end, while luxury brands from European countries trended much higher. Still, the list is more-or-less what one would expect.

Of the three high-dollar, limited-production two-door convertibles GM debuted in 1953, Cadillac’s Series 62 Eldorado was far and away the most expensive. With its drop-door styling , a loaded interior covered in additional leather, and a sky-high $7,750 price tag, Eldorado was out of the reach of the majority of consumers.

Plug-ins are trending in key markets around the country, although much of the action remains focused in California and other West Coast states. Tesla found the volume (after some initial stumbles) that has moved the company toward fiscal stability.

The new, downsized General Motors Company emerged from bankruptcy Friday morning. Created from the old GM’s strongest operations in an asset sale approved by the Federal bankruptcy court on 5 July ( earlier post ), the new GM is built on four core brands: Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick and GMC. UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust: 17.5%.

Theres a company in Guernsey (a UK island) which does conversions (the Mk1 shape), but I want a current shape model and a 60 mile range is just fine.
