Everyone’s all excited that Ford just turned a profit, but they’re doing it with a fleet of uninspired crappy cars that they practically have to give away. You might as well call most of the cars they’re selling “future clunkers.&# When’s your affordable EV that gets 1oo mile range on a quick charge Ford?

Here’s what the brainiacs at General Motors sent the premier EV car conference on the West Coast. At least GM sent this nifty printed banner explaining all about the new J1772 industry standard recharging plug. Get to know Coulomb they make the CHARGEPOINT charging stations and they make them good. Check the oil?

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles.
