We have a free market; therefore if Americans truly wanted to make the switch to electric vehicles, then they would buy them — no government interference necessary. Furthermore, the EPA cannot legally issue a formal ban on combustion vehicles. It certainly calls into question exactly where the boundaries of regulatory law exist.
