If everyone could hear Ed talk about the smart grid and how plug-in cars make it possible to inventory electricity then we’d already be building that grid today. There’s three different plug-in alternatives for you below, a Tesla, a Mitsubishi MiEV and a Plug-In hybrid coverted Prius.

The Focus is supposed to get 100 miles to a charge, but Frank is very worried about where people are going to plug in their cars. Frank didn’t mention anything about the different cities like Portland and San Jose to name a couple who are building the first wave of plug in infrastructure.

The Mitsubishi i-MiEV, only here because SCE is testing it. Too bad BMW isn’t planning on building and selling this car for real. Get to know Coulomb they make the CHARGEPOINT charging stations and they make them good. Their chargers were all over the exhibit floor charging every EV there. May I charge your EV sir?

It is aggressively in talks with Portland General Electric Plug-In Charging Stations , ( POR ) and other states including Michigan, and California that are scrambling to offer incentives. before 2010.
