The BMW Group has set itself the goal of creating a closed and sustainable material cycle for battery cells. To do so, the BMW Group will develop innovative production processes and systems, which will then be installed at the 14,000 m² pilot plant. Alstom will build 14 Coradia iLint fuel-cell trains ( earlier post ) for the Local Transport Authority of Lower Saxony (Landesnahverkehrsgesellschaft Niedersachsen, LNVG). The hydrogen for the trains will be provided by the Linde Group. The Linde Group will erect and operate the first hydrogen filling station for trains in Bremervörde.
