Genesis says the 2022 G70 sport sedan is “designed to perform, tailored to be driven, engineered to care.” We spent a week in the smallest Genesis sedan that is designed to take-on the BMW 3-series and Mercedes-Benz C-class sports sedans and found it was a lot of well-engineered car for the money.

Excellent grip The staggered (255/405 front and 295/40 rear) Pirelli Scorpion Zero all-season tires, mounted on 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, provided excellent grip, even when pushing corners to their limit, which is what we assume the designers and engineers had in mind. Maybe switch to summer tires and really enjoy the twisties.

The two-line horizontal LED head and daytime running lights wrap onto the fenders, sit above functioning corner vents, which along with the narrow black grille in the lower fascia, continue the cross-hatch design of the upper grille.
