Volvo has strengthened its DRIVe range by combining the DRIVe technologies with its sports-inspired R-DESIGN bodykit to offer C30, S40 and V50 models with low levels of emissions and the highest levels of visual appeal. This charges the battery as soon as the driver releases the accelerator or brakes while a gear is engaged.

It’s the very first one to come off the production line in Zwickau, Germany and includes its 170kW e-motor mounted on the rear axle and 77kWh (net) battery pack slung under the floor. The 77kWh battery pack is claimed to consume juice at an average 15.7-17.5kWh/100km 2023 Cupra Born recharge plug is on the right-side at the rear.
