The obvious next step after creating a popular RAV4 PHEV would be stepping up to an all-electric version.

Designed specifically for a lithium-ion battery-powered chassis, Nissan LEAF is a medium-size hatchback that comfortably seats five adults and has a range of 100 miles on a city drive cycle (LA4).
