Mazda is offering the choice of five SKYACTIV engines (two diesels and three gasoline powerplants) coupled with six-speed manual or automatic transmissions in the Mazda6. This makes i-ELOOP an ideal companion for i-stop, as there is no need to revert to battery power even when Mazda’s idle-stop system has shut the car off.

The 2022 Bolt EUV has a 65 kilowatt-hour (kWh) lithium-ion battery powering a single 150 kW motor that produces 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. Volvo Ford-owned company exploring PHEVs "ReCharge" flex-fuel series 60-mile concept PHEV w/wheel motors. Hybrid Sonata model year 2011, possible PHEV version in 2013.
