If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. Toyota Prius modders have already been adding larger batteries so the vehicle can run on battery power. Just hope that we switch over to HHO (Hydrogen-Hydrogen-oxygen) gas before the "Battery thing" gets out-of-control.
