While Chrysler has still not officially announced any of these details, the carmakers viability plan listed an "EV Roadster" as a future product for 2010.

General Motors Chevy Volt series PHEV, which it calls "extended range electric vehicle" (EREV), part of "E-Flex" multi-fuel platform. See Chevy Volt for latest. Volkswagen CEO says "Future belongs to electric cars," has gained German government support for development. I want to stick around to see the Volt come to market.

Thankfully, since parts of the powertrain in the Circuit are also used in other Chrysler ENVI vehicles - like the all-electric USPS minivan that was unveiled earlier today - work that is done on one model can be applied to others. Chevys volt is exactly what a family with kids would need, as is the Tesla model S, and yea, theyre both pricey.
