Some of the EVs we saw in GM’s Design Dome (Cadillac Celestiq and probably the unnamed Buick crossover) are clearly targeted for China. However, the actual near-term EV sales volume in 2025 across 18 GM-owned models could be less than the 270,000 units of the gas-powered Chevrolet Equinox sold in 2020. So What Does It All Mean?

2018 marked a record year for the sale of battery-powered electric vehicles, according to data from JATO Dynamics. Conversely, the Ford Escape/Kuga lost ground and recorded the highest drop in the top 20. Passenger electric cars recorded 1.26 million sales throughout the year, up by 74% (about 1.5% of total global sales).

Postal Service Minivan - Click above for high-res gallery Chrysler is celebrating Earth Day today by unveiling the first four of what will be a fleet of 250 battery-powered minivans for the U.S. Postal Service. The USPS will be using the vans for a variety of duties at locations around the country – including daily home delivery.
