smart USA names Coulomb Technologies as Preferred Supplier of Charging Stations for EVs

Coulomb’s ChargePoint Networked Charging Stations for plug-in electric vehicles will be sold through the smart USA dealer network for business, consumer and home charging. The company is planning a 2010 entry into the USA market with its smart fortwo electric drive vehicle featuring Li-ion battery technology.

We signed agreements to bring Level 2 charging to Arcos Dorados’s McDonalds franchises in Puerto Rico and to bring DC fast charging to Royal Farms convenience stores in the Mid-Atlantic. Like the tax credit for new EVs, the used EV tax credit included an AGI cap and must be sold by a licensed dealer.
