The outer one was filled with water, the inner between the two walls supposedly had wild animals roaming around. The problem - lack of water. Rain water harvesting was tried out. An artificial lake, Moti jheel, was also made for storing water. Unfortunately no rice was available, but I enjoyed the dal-roti.
