Proposed Changes to the Federal EV Tax Credit Passed by the House of Representatives

The credit is not available for Tesla vehicles acquired after December 31, 2019 and General Motors EV purchased after March 31, 2020. Of these five, the Toyota Prius Prime is the only one that sells in any significant volume. Out of 31 PHEVs currently available in the US, the top 3 most efficient PHEVs have less than a 10 kWh battery.
