To ignore this potential is wasteful and foolish. It is wasteful and destructive to be burning this versatile molecule; we must stop. The electrical system has perhaps 85% excess capacity most of the year which means we are wasting money in excess electric generation and distribution infrastructure and resources.

I imagine there will be tax incentives to build green generators when were at that stage. Nuclear waste is a problem much harder to solve than CO2, and dams have quite an impact in the environment. However, I dont welcome this news. Saving lives through nuclear power. :p Simply, those are not the main concern for campaigners right now.

Most charge points available today take much longer to re-energize batteries than it does to fill a gas-powered cars tank. Perhaps more importantly, quickly "pouring" electricity into many of the batteries available today may stress the very expensive component and shorten their useful lifetime.
