In states (or countries ) with a high proportion of coal-generated electricity, the miles needed to break-even climb more. In Poland and China, for example, an EV would need to be driven 78,700 miles to break-even. Owning a reliable automobile has long been one of the only successful means of getting out of poverty.

Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal. The Democrats have reached too far.
