In the first quarter of 2020, the electrically-chargeable vehicle segment in Europe significantly increased its market share, rising to 6.8% (from 2.5% Gasoline vehicle sales contracted by 32.2%, from almost 2 million units last year to 1.3 respectively, boosted by the outstanding performance of the plug-in hybrid segment.

Generally, registration taxes threaten fleet renewal.
