Blending the MPG of SUVs and small cars understates the real consumption and rewards automakers for building gas hogs and unsafe micro cars which makes people want to buy "safe" gas hogs. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. needs to have an indigenous automobile industry, and not merely "transplants".
