If no one wants your car (because people think it sucks), then no one will buy it, regardless of how good the fuel economy may or may not be. Yes GM will lose $ on the Volt, just like the first Insights or Priuss, but unlike Toyota or Honda, they just cant afford to wait for it to catch on and become profitable. Never again.
