Fuel economy is estimated at 26 mpg (9.0 Estimated city fuel economy is 25 mpg (9.4 gallon fuel tank, the same as non-hybrid models, driving range is estimated at more than 526 miles (847 km). It is expected to be priced at around $3,000 more than Pathfinder 3.5-liter liter V6 models.

Finally, BMW showcased a hydrogen fuel cell drive system as a future-focused variant of BMW eDrive (teased in a technical session during April’s SAE World Congress in Detroit) enabling all-electric driving with a high operating range and short refueling times. BMW is collaborating with Toyota on fuel cell systems.
