Shortly after VinFast confirmed its attendance at CES, it announced that it had officially signed agreements with five dealers in four states across the country to have them play host to its products.

After opening up its first dealership in North Carolina at the end of December, VinFast has announced partnerships with five dealers in four states. It has been switching up its distribution model, which was previously based on Tesla’s direct-to-consumer model, to what it calls a “hybrid” model that includes dealers.

Nissan plans to add at least 500 quick-charging stations to US in next 18 months, tripling the quick-charging infrastructure

Nissan outlined the strategy at the Washington Auto Show. Nissan is working with its dealers, local municipalities and infrastructure partners that include NRG Energy and its eVgo Network to increase the current number of public charging options. Nissan has been working on accelerating a European quick-charging network since 2011.
