With a clutched system, I just order the shaft and transmission adapter from Electro Auto and everything is just done. While the design of the shaft and transmission adapter is not open-source, there are many other parts (like the DC motor) that aren't open-source as well. The resolution is 300x300 dots-per-inch.

" President Obamas auto task force doesnt see it that way. Ill never purchase one again, no matter what the mpgs. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. why would the auto company be in cahoots with the oil companies on this topic? guess who GM sold the NIHM auto-battery patents too.
