Were told that the agreement includes nods of acceptance from the likes of Volkswagen, BMW, Ford, General Motors, Fiat, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Eon, Vattenfall, EDF, Npower, Endesa and Enel, and while theres no time frame for when itll be introduced, were pretty stoked to hear that at least something has been decided upon. GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. " President Obamas auto task force doesnt see it that way. If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do Sorry the market killed the EV1. you see that?
