A survey commissioned by the electric vehicle maker Polestar has found 34 per cent of Australian drivers support a ban on petrol and diesel cars by 2030. The government will issue a discussion paper on emissions strategy for auto industry comment and response this month. The European Union recently signed up to a 2035 ICE ban.

The Worldwide Fuel Charter (WWFC), originally drafted in 1998, details quality specifications for fuels recommended by the world auto industry.

Toyota Teases New X Prologue BEV – The world’s biggest automaker has teased its first ever global electric vehicle (EV) with a sneak picture ahead of the March 17 launch.
