Many in the auto industry are warning that realistic BEV range numbers under varying conditions need to be widely published , else risk creating a backlash against EVs in general. Range risk concerns obviously are tightly coupled to EV charging availability. Right now, there is a dearth of EV-certified mechanics and repair shops.
