Audi partnering with Climeworks on CO2 direct air capture and storage

Audi is partnering with the Zurich-based environmental start-up and promoting a future technology with the project. Climeworks is removing 1,000 metric tons thereof from the atmosphere on behalf of Audi. C using waste heat from a nearby geothermal plant to release the CO 2 molecules. One quarter of that will be credited to Audi.

Volkswagen fueling car carriers with fuel derived from used cooking oil; GoodFuels BFO

The fuel is produced from materials such as used oil from restaurants and the food industry. This way, we reuse waste oil in an environmentally compatible way. With 85 percent lower CO 2 emissions than with conventional fossil fuels, the contribution to climate protection is enormous.
