Last year Oregon had also aggressively negotiated with the Chinese carmaker, BYD , to manufacture its line of plug-in hybrids in the state for sale in the U.S.) One thing is for sure; - electric cars bring down the air pollution, but they sure create another waste pollution problem. We need to stop BURNING fuel in our cars.
