The CX-9 is recommended to run on 87 octane, but spending a bit more on fuel may just unleash your fun side. The Maverick Hybrid or EcoBoost were not designed to be a heavy-duty work trucks, but are more for the weekend warrior doing DIY projects or used for active lifestyles such as biking and kayaking. Smaller 17-inch alloy wheels are standard. A small travel trailer was easily hauled behind the Maverick Hybrid.

Ford not only brought back its compact pickup, which some thought was a gamble, but the Maverick comes standard with a hybrid engine. Third-party and DIY converters can't muck with every system on a car. UPDATE: Felix Kramer of Calcars informs me that the vacuum bottle is standard on 2004-2008 Prius.) Surely if we study and fund and chat about all the options before us - biodiesel, ethanol, hydrogen, fuel cells, electricity - we will find our salvation, they suggest.
