The EPA has rated the GV80’s fuel economy at 21 mpg city/25 highway/23 combined. It wasn’t easy, but cracking 30 mpg on the open road was a nice surprise in this size of car. The EPA rates the fuel economy at 19 city/24 highway/21 combined. mpg, but did a bit better on a 207-mile freeway run with the smart cruise control set at 65 mph, achieving 25.1 To aid in fuel economy the Palisade has a start-stop feature where the engine shuts off when coming to a stop and restarts automatically.
